About mountain gorilla:

Mountain gorillas are the largest living primates, with males reaching up to 6 feet tall and weighing over 400 pounds. These critically endangered creatures inhabit only the volcanic mountain ranges of Rwanda, Uganda, and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Sadly, due to habitat loss, poaching, and disease, their numbers have dwindled significantly.

Responsible gorilla trekking Uganda

Authorities strictly regulate gorilla trekking to minimise human impact on these vulnerable animals. Visitors must obtain permits, and park authorities limit the number of guests. Guides forbid making direct eye contact with the gorillas.
